Part-Time Retail Account Specialist- Appleton, WI Simmons Bedding Company, maker of the world famous Beautyrest mattress, is actively recruiting for a Part-Time Retail Account Specialist for our Appleton, WI territory.  DUTIES: The Retail Account Specialist (RAS) is the interface between the customer and Simmons in a geographic region. This position is responsible for training and increasing market share within accounts in a geographical district.   Interacts with Strategic Account Managers (SAMs) to understand training needs of Simmons dealers and provide appropriate feedback Build positive working relationships with the retail floor sales staff and management Present and communicate dealer tailored training programs.  Educate the retail floor sales staff on the advantages and benefits of Simmons products.  Maintain client confidentiality Increase market share within accounts through better selling, increased floor space, superior customer service and retail sales training Educate the retail principles on the profit implications of selling Simmons products Coordinate deliveries and returns with retailer’s warehouse in a timely fashion Ensure that Simmons products and marketing message is positively represented Observe competition impact and strategy deployment in the market and communicate observations to the Retail Sales Manager (RSM). Handle customer complaint issues Other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS: 2 -3 years of retail sales, training, or teaching experience Ability to communicate and deliver presentations in small and large group settings Ability to build strong customer relationships and demonstrate positive conflict resolution skills Ability to demonstrate team building skills and function well within a cohesive team environment Proficient in the MS Office Suite:  Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the Internet Must be open to frequent overnight travel and frequent Saturday and holiday hours EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent work experience preferredSimmons is proud to be an Affirmative Action Equal Opportunity Employer, M/F/D/V.
