The Old Spaghetti Factory has locations in Seattle, Lynnwood, Tacoma, and we are opening a new restaurant in South Center! We are seeking highly motivated Department Manager candidates to help drive the success of our restaurants. We value a positive and flexible attitude, motivational leadership skills, and a commitment to meeting and/or exceeding financial goals! This is a highly responsible position involving management of all front of house operations, including P&L, staffing, scheduling, training and ongoing development of team members. The successful candidate will be a leader with the ability to create a cohesive team. He/she will possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills, time management skills, an eye for detail, and a strong commitment to total guest satisfaction. We want someone who is professional, experienced, and excited about working for a company that values quality and people!

Qualifications:

· 1-2+ years as a restaurant manager in full-service dining environment desired.

· Must be willing to relocate after training (10 weeks) to one of the following areas:Tacoma, Lynnwood, or Seattle


· Experience as a supervisor or trainer in a full service dining environment required.

· College degree preferred  

· Ability to work in a corporate culture  

· Effective listening skills and ability to communicate tactfully to a variety of audiences

· Commitment to providing outstanding customer service

· Self-motivated and Energetic

· Computer-literate with ability to keyboard and demonstrated business writing skills

· Ability to work weekends and evenings

· Hiring, scheduling, staffing for all front of house, office, maintenance and janitorial positions

· Training and development

· Administrative and human resource duties, including personnel file maintenance, compliance with employee laws, coaching and counseling, performance appraisals, audits

· Inventory and cost control

· Monthly forecasting of sales and guest counts and consistently meeting financial goals

· Creating an environment of Both-Win management and living the company values on a daily basis – including treating others with honesty, dignity, and respect

· Able to relocate to any of the following states may open MORE opportunities for you: TN, CA, IN, GA, OK, CO, MO, WA, MN, or OH

Salary Range: $37,000 - $40,000 per year DOE plus bonus
