Part Time Delivery Driver

Part Time Delivery Driver:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; Delivering customer orders in bob-tail or tractor –trailer rigs according to customer requirements {inside delivery requiring breaking down pallets and stacking cartons or dock delivery}, loading and unloading delivery vehicles, Picking up vendor merchandise and customer returns. We are seeking individuals for both our evening delivery operation {starting time is approximately 4:00-5:00 PM} and dayshift delivery operation {starting time is approximately 7:00 AM}. Work schedules are Monday – Friday and actual shift hours can be slightly flexible.

 

Qualifying Criteria:

Candidates must have a stable work history with at least 3 years service with current or last job, must be dependable with a good attendance record, must be D.O.T. certified and have a class A license and be comfortable operating bob-tail vehicles and tractor –trailer rigs, must have a safe driving record, must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, Must have a thorough knowledge of the Houston metro area and be skilled in reading a key map, Excellent customer service and people skills are required.
