Part-Time Accounting Clerk (Lansdowne)

ACCOUTNING CLERK (PART-TIME, 24 hours per week)


Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• College business or accounting majors preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft office (word/excel)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good communication skills (verbal & written)
• Organized and detail oriented

Job Description: This is a great opportunity for a college student or for a high school graduate who wants to get experience in an accounting environment. This position will work closely with our AP Analyst to research accounts payable issues, process checks, and maintain vendor files.


Job duties:

• Match vendor advices to invoices
• Filing of AP invoices and advices
• Filing of vendor maintenance documents and bank statements
• Preparation of vendor labels and folders
• Preparation of shipping waybills/ assist with mailing of checks
• Assist with vendor payment calls (customer service calls)
• Retrieval of AP documents to assist in year end audit process
• Assist in review and filing of purchase card statements
