The Opportunity:

Chacho’s, founded in 1988, operates incredibly successfully, 24-hour restaurants that generate perhaps the highest customer counts of any restaurants anywhere.  We have five locations in San Antonio and Houston, are well funded, and can offer a rewarding and exciting career for superior managers.

 

Our success enables us to offer an excellent career.  Our high sales volume provides us with revenue to pay more than most other restaurants can pay.  After years of slow growth, we are accelerating our growth and will steadily be opening new locations, and this will provides opportunities.

 

Successful candidates must have the following personal characteristics:

· Restaurant management experience in an acceptable concept (see end of ad)

· High energy level.

· Ability to work on feet for many hours in a row.

· Ability to work in a high volume environment.

· Good training ability.

· Honesty.

· Maturity & emotional control.

· Professional behavior and appearance.

· Non-smoker, non-heavy drinker in adequate physical condition to do the job.



 

The following are not job requirements:

· College degree or specific educational background.

· Ability to relocate.

· Perfect personal history. (If you have had personal problems or made mistakes of any type, even significant ones, still consider applying. We all make mistakes & we believe in giving 2nd & even 3rd chances.)

· Origin in the United States. (We have had good success with people from Latin America, Asia, Middle East, etc.)  We do not mind heavy accents.

· Traditional stereotypical manager types. We love older people, females, minorities, etc.

 Pay & Benefits:

· Pay from 40k to 80k per year, to start.

· 2 weeks annual vacation.

· Excellent medical insurance.

Our managers work alongside our regular employees in our high volume restaurants.  If you do not want to work on your feet alongside our employees most of the day, you should not apply. On the other hand, most of our managers have been with us over 10 years and would not consider working anywhere else.

Experience Required:

We require previous management experience in a fast food, fast casual or low priced full service restaurant.  Below is a partial list of local restaurant companies that may be considered to provide acceptable experience:



 

A&W, Aranda’s, Arby’s, Bill Miller’s, Blimpie’s, Boston Market, Burger King, Carl’s Jr., Chick-Fil-A, Chipotle, Chuck E Cheese Pizza, Church’s, Cici’s, Culver’s, Dairy Queen, Denny’s, Domino’s, Dunkin Donuts,  Freddy’s, IHOP, Jack in the Box, James Coney Island, Jason’s Deli, Jim’s Coffee House, KFC, Krispy Kreme, Krystal’s, Las Palapas, Little Caesar’s, Long John Silver’s, Luby’s, McDonald’s, Papa John’s, Pappa’s BBQ, Peter Piper, Pizza Hut, Popeye’s, Quizno’s, Schlotzky’s, Sea Island, Sonic, Starbucks, Subway, Taco Bell, Taco Cabana, Weinerschnitzel, Wendy’s, Whataburger.

 

The above list of restaurant companies is not exhaustive, but the candidate must have worked with employees handling food who are paid not more than $2 an hour above minimum wage.  Experience only in higher priced, full service restaurants does not provide the required experience.
