National Marketing Manager, Lead Tax Services Group Deloitte Services LP ("Deloitte Services") provides a wide variety of internal support services to Deloitte & Touche USA LLP and its subsidiaries ("the Deloitte U.S. Firms") and its people. Deloitte Services is comprised of Operations, Financial Support Services, Information Technology, Marketing & Communications, Human Resources and more. As with all the businesses within the Deloitte U.S. Entities, a core set of competencies is associated with each of these channels. An overall understanding of quality client service, experience in working on multifunctional teams and across multiple geographies, a strong business acumen and the instinct to think and act globally are essential for advancement within Deloitte Services. Deloitte is currently searching for a National Tax Marketing Manager who will support the planning and execution of marketing strategies and programs for Deloitte Tax's Lead Tax Services Group. Responsibilities include the following: - Work with National Tax Senior Manager to formulate and execute an integrated marketing strategy and plan in support of the goals set forth by the Tax Marketing group and Lead Tax Services ( LTS is the core practice for Deloitte Tax encompassing all Federal Tax, Tax Controversies, Private Client Services, and Tax Management Services. Additionally, this position will cover marketing needs for the Washington National Tax office.) Ensure programs are implemented cost-effectively and achieve desired goals for building revenue, relationships and reputation. Ensure alignment with and support of Deloitte Tax goals and objectives, and the overall Tax Marketing plan. - Oversee tactical execution of the LTS marketing plan. Engage appropriate firm resources, including regional business development center resources (primarily Regional Tax Marketers, as well as BDMs and graphic services), as well as national resources, to execute integrated marketing programs. Ensure programs are implemented cost-effectively and implemented to achieve desired business goals. Assist with directing and coordinating the design and execution of events geared toward client education and prospective client acquisition, including, but not limited to conferences, roundtables, and trade shows.Support alliance relationships with key associations, influencers, media and academics.Liaise with public relations.Support the direction and coordination of the LTS portion of the Dbriefs program, including advising on content through to the follow up after the webcast has occurred - Assist with the development and refresh of marketing materials, including ebrochures, proposal credentials, product sheets and web content. Provide writing/editing support for marketing materials and manage outside resources as needed. - Help with tracking, monitoring, and evaluating marketing activities and accomplishments. - Help ensure that marketing processes are employed consistently and cost effectively. - Marketing Manager will interface with LTS Tax Partners, Partners from multiple offices as well as Service Line Leaders, and Regional Tax Marketers. Participation in strategic planning, budgeting, and program execution. Oversight of marketing staff may be required during project design, development, and completion. - 5-7 years of experience in Marketing, with a focus in marketing and relationship building strategies, as well as a proven ability to drive marketing programs. - Ideal candidate will have some knowledge of the tax industry. - Experience in a professional services or large matrixed company, previous experience in a large professional services or consulting firm a plus. - Excellent oral communications skills and professional client service manner. Demonstrated strength in building commitment and managing projects to consistently deliver high quality results - Demonstrated ability to work well with a team, both on location and in a virtual mode, and ability to interact with/influence all levels of management. - Demonstrated commitment to service excellence; a professional client-service manner. - Should be prepared to get into detailed work as well as provide ideas and on-hands support (a "can-do" attitude) - Demonstrated ability to take initiative and interact appropriately with other team members of Tax Marketing and all levels of management. - Project management experience. - Sound knowledge of marketing fundamentals. - Superior writing skills, with demonstrated ability to create marketing collateral, press releases, web content, internal communications materials, client success stories, and thought leadership outputs. - Negotiation and presentation skills a plus. - Flexibility and adaptability. - Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications or related field, Masters degree a plus.
