District Manager- Orlando, FL

Responsibilities:  The qualified candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Budget Orlando location.  The position will be responsible for but not be limited to:  organizing and directing all activities relating to the rental and servicing of Budget vehicles in a high volume airport environment.  Specific responsibilities include, directing and controlling the activities performed by the fleet distribution function while reviewing and evaluating the availability of fleet vehicles; overseeing activities by directing and controlling the maintenance, repair and/or reconditioning of fleet vehicles and ensuring all Quality Assurance standards are maintained at the location.  This role will also partner with Corporate Sales and Marketing functions to develop sales policies, long-range sales objectives and marketing plans for the location.  Additional responsibilities will include building and maintaining professional relationships with local business organizations and governmental agencies to enhance organizational goals.  This position will hire, supervise, train, develop and motivate the performance of managers and employee staff; resolve customer complaints, union and labor issues for the assigned location.    Qualifications:Bachelors Degree.3 years of operations management experience required, with at least one year at the supervisory level. The successful candidate must be willing to and/or possess the following:Strong leadership and management skills.Supervisory experience in a vehicle rental or related industryGeneral business knowledge to successfully lead a large airport location.Excellent management skills.  Must be able to provide direction and support to a large number of staff.Strong organizational and analytical skills to track all appropriate operational measures and to analyze and  forecast operational performance results.Very strong communication and presentation skills (both written and oral)Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.  Ability to interact with both internal and external customers at all levels.Ability to manage and motivate staff in a team environment.Valid driver’s license and good driving record.   We offer a competitive salary, use of a company car plus gas and excellent benefits including dental, medical, tuition reimbursement, 401K and more.
