Manager (Manager/Supervisor of Staff) Industry: Other Job Type: Full Time, Employee     Job Description Position Description:The Branch Manager is responsible for the Profit & Loss management of $2 to $6 Million-dollar specialty product rental operation. Specifically, you will:• Manage overall branch operations to ensure productivity, customer service and profitability• Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives, including reviewing daily contracts raised and debt collection efforts• Perform and monitor daily operations, including yard inspection; loading, delivering and repairing equipment; set-up; and tear down• Manage branch personnel• Ensure compliance with all company procedures in regard to new hires, terminations, performance issues, payroll, etc• Oversee personnel development and training, including yearly performance reviews for all staff• Ensure all safety policies and procedures are being followed at all times• Oversee all safety matters including: audits, training, OSHA compliance, DOT regulations and drug and alcohol testing• Review, analyze and report on branch operations and finances• Prepare various reports including profit and loss statements, rental income forecasts, monthly operating reviews, yearly budgets, and other reports as needed To Apply Visit United Rentals, Inc.Qualifications:This position requires:• Have an understanding of the rental business as it pertains to specialty engineered rental products and services, including Silenced Diesel Generators, Large Diesel, Electric and Hydraulic Pumps, Air-Cooled Chillers, Air-Conditioning, Electric Heat, Desiccant Dehumidification, Load Banks and Electrical Distribution• 3+ years successful business management experience, including preparation of business plans and Profit and Loss statements • Bachelors degree is preferred • Basic knowledge of OSHA and D.O.T. standards and regulations • Able to lift equipment weighing up to 75 pounds• PC proficiency, particularly with all Microsoft applications.
