SENIOR ASSOCIATE II, ACCOUNTING
We are currently seeking a Senior Associate II, Accounting to join our DC Metro Finance team office located in McLean, VA. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in a career in accounting and joining an organization that will provide opportunities for growth. SENIOR ASSOCIATE II, ACCOUNTING – McLean, VA Responsibilities: Produce timely and accurate monthly financial statements and provide analysis on information which could include supporting revenue schedules, labor reports and expense review Distribute and communicate financial results to Regional Operations Managers Reconcile monthly revenue as well as ensure accurate recognition of revenue in compliance with contract terms Produce and analyze monthly and quarterly Management Executive Committee variance reports Ensure that balance sheet reconciliations are completed in a timely and accurate manner Ensure the accounts receivable objectives and metrics are met - oversee maintenance and research on AR over 30 days past due Timely and accurate recognition of revenue in compliance with contract terms Complete quarterly audit work papers Assist in the creation of the annual plan and quarterly forecasts for the client group Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field Minimum of 4-5 years experience CPA is preferred Strong communication and analytical skills Self-starter with the ability to excel in a fast paced and customer service oriented environment Strong attention to detail Computer proficiency with PeopleSoft is preferred Start a lasting career with Jones Lang LaSalle today!
