Regional Manager

The Regional Manager is accountable for the overall profitability of assigned properties, the development of marketing strategies focused on achieving occupancy goals, maximizing rental rates and collections, controlling expenses, and promoting outstanding customer service to residents.

Key Job Responsibilities:

•Ability to manage deadlines, owner commitments
•Prepare business plans and budgets
•Maintain budget/cash flow expectations
•Monitor property performance/income and expense
•Implementation of action plans to achieve expected returns
•Prepare monthly variance and forecast reports
•Supervise on-site personnel
•Monitor collection of rents
•Assist property managers with collection of delinquent accounts
•Prepare periodic inventory of building and property condition
•Recommends to management alterations to or reconditioning of community property
•Directs and monitors community managers in adhering to building and safety codes


Job Skills/Knowledge:

•Strong organizational and managerial skills
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Able to work with minimal supervision
•Familiarity with property management software (AMSI, Rent Roll, Yardi, etc.)
•Strong MSOffice experience
•Familiarity with various classes of multifamily real estate (Class A thru Class C)

Relevant Work Experience:

•5 years in property management
•>3 years as a multi-site manager 
•Heavy contact with vendors and personnel

Education/Training:

•Bachelor degree in Business or Real Estate a plus, but not required
•Experience in property management may be substituted for education requirements

Other Requirements:

•Ability to work On Call schedule
•Ability to work week-ends and evenings
