Portfolio Manager-Commercial Servicing

Primary Responsibilities

The qualified candidate will monitor the performance of a commercial real estate loan portfolio.  These duties include formal portfolio analysis, collection and assessment of portfolio data, loan financial performance review, and industry research.

Tasks Performed

Perform analysis and preparation of case formatted recommendations of borrower special requests.

Provide customer service to Borrowers, Investors and various departments within Litton and C‑Bass.

Monitor all delinquent commercial loans and pursue a course of action to resolve the delinquency.

Collect and review financial statements, analyzing borrower repayment capacity and overall health of property.

Make recommendations to management on course of action in the case of default.

Coordinate property inspections per servicing guidelines.

Supervise day‑to‑day activities of Commercial Servicing Specialist(s)/ and or Analyst(s) assigned to the same portfolio.

Provide monthly reporting to Commercial Servicing Manager.

Other duties as assigned



Minimum Physical

Requirements

Ability to lift and move up to 20 lbs. as needed when rearranging work documents and/or space, or, ability to lift computer equipment weighing up to 40 lbs. is required, etc.

Desired Education

High School diploma (or equivalent) is required

Desired Degree

BA/BS is preferred

 



Certifications Required

Continued commercial servicing educational opportunities through agencies such as MBA and CMBA

Expand knowledge of conventional mortgage industry through educational opportunities provided by agencies such as USFN and MBA

Take ten hours of Litton sponsored training classes

Desired Job Experience

Five or more years experience in mortgage industry required.

Above average Microsoft Excel and Word computer skills

 

Other Qualifications

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Bilingual (English and Spanish) considered a plus

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to perform complex calculations using calculators and systems is required.

 

REASONING ABILITY

Problems are somewhat complex and require a systematic, organized approach in order to resolve, or, complex problem solving skills required, or, very complex problem solving skills required, etc.
