LEAD OPERATING ENGINEER

We are currently seeking a Lead Operating Engineer to join our office located in Wauwatosa, WI. LEAD OPERATING ENGINEER – Wauwatosa, WI Responsibilities: Foreman for and advise maintenance staff and monitors performance of their assigned responsibilities. Perform and/or direct the performance of all maintenance departmental service requests and work orders, insuring that work performed in these areas is accomplished efficiently with a minimum amount of disruption and inconvenience. Work with Facilities Manager with operational recommendations such as a capital and annual budgets. Provide training and supervision aimed at expanding the capabilities of the operations staff. Maintain current update CMMS information for own site(s). Responsible for short term site, safety and operational training, maintaining documentation of training for the site Facilities Manager. Participate in facilities remodeling, new exhibit construction, and other planning activities of other Departments. Perform ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical and other installed systems, equipment, and other components. Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds as it pertains to assigned buildings. Perform assigned facility inspections, vendor work and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations. Requirements: Must possess a Universal CFC recovery certification. Minimum of 5 years technical experience in all aspects of building engineering with a strong background in technical aspects of HVAC, plumbing, electrical equipment, repair and maintenance and overall system design and application. Must be willing and able to support any after hours building related activity as required. Ability to utilize Microsoft word, excel and e-mail, enter, query and change fields within a CMMS system.
