Job Description Regional Sales Manager Job Description Cox Auto Trader Publishing/AutoMart, the nations leading publisher of targeted automotive advertising, has an opportunity for a new leadership position in our Dallas market. The Regional Sales Manager will manage and drive revenue activities for all product lines (Auto Trader Publishing, AutoMart, AutoMercado, and AutoExtra, AutoMart.com, AutoExtra.com). The office is in Fort Worth, Texas. Responsibilities Set clear performance expectations for the sales force and manage performance, including rewarding high performance, taking appropriate action on low performance, and guiding others in accomplishing work objectives*Establish and maintain a culture of customer care by ensuring customer satisfaction *Oversees sales manager(s) duties and responsibilities, as applicable*Develops and implements sales plans to accommodate division/corporate goals.*Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.*Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs*In coordination with the Market Manager, assigns commercial sales territory to sales representatives.*Analyzes commercial sales statistics to formulate policy and assist dealers in promoting sales.*Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.*Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.*Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.*Model the Companys values*Effectively communicate with employees, internal customers, and external customers, to include effectively giving and receiving information, ideas and opinions, both verbally and in writing*Ensure corporate and personnel policies and procedures are followed. Qualifications *Previous experience managing sales to reach and exceed objectives. *Proven experience recruiting and developing high performing sales representatives and/or sales managers.*A minimum of three years sales management experience, preferred.*Bachelors degree, preferred.*Experience selling and/or managing sales in the geographical territory for which this position has accountability, preferred. *Experience selling into the automotive industry, preferred.* Ability to meet pre-employment conditions including execution of noncompetition/nonsolicitation and arbitration agreements, and successful completion of drug testing and criminal background check Closing Statement Auto Trader Publishing is one of the nations leading producers of classified automotive advertising publications, with more than 1.9 million magazines distributed weekly.
