Production Tables Specialist
The Production Table Specialist is the sole point of contact between Tables Maintenance and the Marketing Department, National Sales and Support, National Production, Sales Liaison and CMRs (National Sales) for the Book, Rates (both local and National), Headings and UDAC Tables for all of Yellowbook. This includes all Yellow Book directories. This position is solely responsible for ensuring that all tables are accurate and current.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Verify the accuracy of the rate files and rate cards, contact Marketing if rate files are not received on time and load rate files into DIAD and create local rate bands.
-Create the mapping document of the discount codes from the previous issue for Marketing.
-Create rate file for National Rates PC and Diad, verify accuracy of National Rate file and submit National rate files into Rates PC
-Work with Marketing Department profiles to determine scoping and demographics.
-Maintain all Book Table information, including all book codes, book names, book group, district, YPA Code, Default Rate Band, Book type, dates, and area codes.
-Compare company schedule to all DIAD dates. Update the changes to the book table.
-Work with the Scheduling Dept to clarify any book date issues
-Update book table when sales close changes are announced. This may involve updating Rates PC too.
-Review current scoping and demographics on Rates PC and modify the new scoping changes.
-Submit all Yellow Book information regarding Rates, Scoping, Demographics and Dates to YPA through Rates PC.
-Update Heading Table Sensitivities
2 year college degree preferred, HS diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years job related experience required.
Must be knowledgeable on Microsoft Applications. Must possess strong organizational and communication skills, have the ability to analyze data and make valid decisions or raise appropriate questions. Must be able to work independently, accurately and at times under tight deadlines.
