Printing / Prepress Customer Support Expert

We are currently seeking a 1 1/2 year contract Printing / Prepress Customer Support Expert for our Fortune 500 client located in the Redmond, WA market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing first service to all incoming printing orders. This individual will all be responsible for some design and pre-printing activities. Tasks include but are not limited to ·  First contact with customers on phone, in person, e-mail or website.·  Accept and process copy requests via e-mail or phone·  Review all work in progress ensure that deadlines and supplies are available to meet customer requirements. ·  Review all incoming jobs and assess whether or not there are any scheduling issues. ·  Double check and give accurate pricing quote to customer. ·  Be aware of equipment conditions in B/W and Color departments when scheduling and negotiating due times with customer. ·  Coordinate with Production, Shift Leads on their workload and expectations. Coordinate workflow. ·  Assure that billing information is accurate and complete on job tickets. ·  Track and maintain internal metrics. ·  Scan materials; convert into digital formats. ·  Proof jobs and evaluate output and make necessary changes to ensure job integrity. Store/retrieve document files via network or electronic media. ·  Validate or adjust the manufacturing layout & imposition of files. Generate Color proofs. Ability to troubleshoot production color process issues (e.g. color quality & image quality) Requirements for Consideration·  BA/BS in operations or equivalent experience. ·  Proficient PC skills; Windows and web navigation. Proficient use of software applications-MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Scanning, MAC experience·  Proficiency with Desktop Publishing·  Excellent customer skills required, ability to negotiate.·  Ability to manage multiple tasks Individual drive and maturity. ·  Excellent written and oral communication skills.·  Ability to foster and maintain relationships with customers, management, peers and deal with multiple stakeholders.·  High Volume Digital equipment and Color Experience. ·  Wide Format experience. ·  Prepress and Graphics knowledge. ·  Able to operate color servers (RIPs) and digital color printers.  Please send a copy of your resume to EricSpence@spherion.com or apply directly through Monster.
