Construction Bid Reporter in Montevallo
This job is located in Montevallo, Alabama
POSITION SUMMARY
Gather and report construction project and bid information by interaction within a defined base of companies and contacts in a designated geographical area covered by Construction DataFax. Initiate and maintain contact relationships to enhance this function via telephone. Pursue additional information and clarification of existing information primarily through phone contact on targeted construction projects appearing on a daily call activity list.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct the reporting function daily for assigned companies and contacts as described by the Reporter's Manual and Director of Production
Maintain production standards identified by the Director of Production
Update database records in the course of daily activity as required
Interact with Data Specialist Team members to best advantage for production of a timely, accurate and superior report
Communicate physical and technical needs of my workstation to my supervisor
Participate in daily proof reading as assigned
Participate in departmental training
Any other tasks assigned by your Director from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
A Diploma from an accredited high school is required. Must have working knowledge of basic office computer hardware and software.
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
The Reporter's portion of the construction project report is effectively collected and ready to be transmitted on schedule on a daily basis
The number of informational, procedural and clerical errors are less than 1%
Daily activity list company & contact calls are made within 5 working days of activity list appearance
Daily activity list project calls are made in a timely manner at a rate determined by stage and identified in the Reporter's Manual
Personal conduct is professional, ethical, polite, and controlled so as not to interfere with other employees' job performance
Willingness to assist clients and co-workers to complete any task necessary to promote the company well-being is demonstrated
Positive relationships are maintained with all associates
New projects are actively sought and entered on a daily basis at an average of 3 per day
Daily calls to information sources to average 45 or more
