Help Desk Analyst (Part-Time)

HELP DESK ANALYST (PART-TIME)

 

Objective:

Provide over-the-phone POS software and hardware support to 7000+ corporate and franchise store locations throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.  Be able to provide internal support for Regis corporate employees as needed.  Must be able to maintain a high level of support policy knowledge and utilize all available tools and procedures to resolve customer issues including: troubleshooting hardware issues, POS (point of sale) software questions and problems, escalating unresolved issues and ordering replacement equipment.

 

Requirements:6+ months experience working knowledge of Windows 95/98/NT/XPWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office 2000 (Word, Excel, Access)Ability to work with and train other technical analystsAbility to assist both internal and external customersMust possess excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsMust be customer service orientedSpanish or French speaking is a plus

Help Desk Hours of Operation:7:00am - 11:15pm (Monday - Friday)7:00am - 10:15pm (Saturday)9:00am - 7:00pm (Sunday)

 

***Help Desk hours are subject to change based on periodic review of incoming call trends and determined coverage needed.

 

Shift Requirements (Minimum):Every other weekend (includes a Saturday and Sunday shift)Subject to rotating shifts which may include opening or closing on occasionA minimum of one (1) weekday, afternoon or evening shift per weekProvide coverage for four (4) national holidays (on an alternating basis) which full-time employees are not required to work their normal shifts. Those holidays include: New Year's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day (July 4th); and Labor Day

 

***The Regis POS Helpline is closed for three (3) holidays during the year:  Easter, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.  Neither full-time nor part-time analysts are scheduled on those days.

 

 

 

Training Requirements:A minimum of three (3) consecutive weekends and additional weekday or evening shifts until training is completed
