Gallery Assistant
A leading international Upper East Side gallery is looking for a gallery assistant. This position will involve working closely with clients and helping a small team develop and establish business.
Responsibilities will include: Acting as executive assistant to the gallery director Client liason and development Overseeing photography and catalogue production Overseeing events and marketing initiatives Day-to-day office management Assisting with showrooms, fairs and exhibitions
Necessary skills include: Computer abilities – must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, Adobe Photoshop Excellent communications skills and smart presentation are important A good sense of humor and ability to undertake any and every task presented on a day-to-day basis
Ideal candidate should have 3+ years work experience.
Experience in related field preferred but not essential
Salary commensurate with experience
