SCIENTIST (Low Cost Sensors)

You will work as member of a R&E team to develop and implement new product, process, material or technology concepts. You will have responsibility for portion of a moderate or a large R&E project or full responsibility for a small project. You may also assist in other project areas. The incumbent will plan and carry out project responsibility with limited assistance and direction. Effectively communicates project plans and results to key customers is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience with one or more of the following; Sensors & Indicators, Polymer Electronics, Disposable electronics, small device electronics or micro-processors Technical Solid understanding of electronics and Device to Device communication Familiarity with low cost sensors such as temperature, pressure etc. Understanding of emerging areas such as polymer electronics Skills & Traits Must be comfortable working with ill-defined concepts inherent in early explore work. Self-starter with strong analytical skills and sound understanding of scientific methods. Capable of picking up understanding of new materials related concepts quickly Able to work effectively with business unit partners and external to KC partners Good communication skills – oral and written A Bachelor's degree in a Electrical Engineering or related major scientific engineering discipline or demonstrated equivalent scientific ability, based on relevant experience and appropriate, but lesser, formal education.
