Unisource works closely with clients to provide exceptional support for their packaging and packaging design needs. We are currently seeking a packaging engineer who will support one of our key customers; Harley-Davidson in Milwaukee, WI. The engineer will develop packaging designs on continuous improvement projects at this powertrain plant. The position provides technical sales support to insure successful customer integration and implementation of established organization products, including gaining understanding of customer's business and analysis of customer's system and product needs. Collaborating closely with customer process and engineering teams, the Unisource Packaging Engineer assists in the preparation and presentation of technical proposals on how UWW's products can meet specific needs. They work collaboratively with customers and suppliers to develop packaging solutions that support quality, cost and timing objectives, including defining and creating detailed comprehensive packaging specifications for customer use. Reviewing, selecting and providing technical direction to suppliers is one way this engineer assures customer's packaging solutions meet customer requirements, are cost competitive and timely.

Job Responsibilities: Provides technical sales support to assure successful customer integration and implementation of established organization products. Prepares and presents technical proposals of how UWW's products can meet those needs and be integrated and implemented with the customer's systems and equipment. Prepares and presents customer systems/equipment needs plan to organization teams to assure complete plan is feasible within cost, time and environment constraints.  Conducts post-sale activities which include gathering data on customer and participating in keeping customer informed on how products can meet changing business needs. Required Skills
