Office Assistant

A local home improvement company needs a self starter to join our team and hit the ground running ready to help with a variety of tasks, and do it with a positive, upbeat attitude.

Duties include but are not limited to:

* Forwards information by receiving and distributing communications; collecting and mailing correspondence; copying information and maintaining files.

* Serves customers by answering phones; answering questions; forwarding messages; keeping customers informed of order status, and maintaining sales' calendar.

* Completes basic financial transactions by managing Quickbooks; job costing; reconciling orders and invoices; and preparing reports.

* Updates job knowledge by participating in online educational opportunities.

* Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Skills/Qualifications:

Office Experience - General, Scheduling, Telephone Skills, Typing, Documentation Skills, Meeting Planning, Verbal Communication, Written Communication, Dependability, Attention to Detail, Administrative Writing Skills.  Quickbooks and AP/AR experience a huge plus but willing to teach the right candidate.
