Network Project Specialist

Kimberly-Clark’s IT Services organization is seeking to hire a Network Project Specialist.Summary:Kimberly-Clark operates an Enterprise Network that is comprised of over 430 company and business partner sites around the globe and a high availability, dual data center at the core of the network. The Network Project Specialist is a member of the IT Services – Global Enterprise Network team, which is responsible for architecting, implementing, and supporting Kimberly-Clark’s global Enterprise Network.Primary Responsibilities: Lead/Coordinate network projects for K-C administrative sites, mills, sales offices and business partners Consult with customers and conduct site surveys to determine network requirements and subsequently develop network designs and recommend hardware configurations and network technologies to solve business problems Coordinate with outsourcing, telecommunications, equipment, and wiring partners for project implementations Advocate network processes and standards and actively participate in the continuous improvement of those processes and standards Assist in the diagnosis and resolution of network issues/problems as neededBasic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, preferably with an emphasis in Information Technology or Business, or 3-5 years equivalent industry experience 3-5 years experience with data networking including 2 years experience with network design responsibilities Solid understanding of Cisco device interoperability Experience leading network projects or other infrastructure projects Ability and willingness to travel as required (up to 20%)Preferred Qualifications: Experience with a multi-national manufacturing companyOther: Good analytical and problem solving skills Ability to communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of network stakeholders both internal and external to the company Process and results orientationEqual Opportunity EmployerApply online at and enter Requisition ID 4438.Click here to apply via the Kimberly Clark Career Opportunity PortalExpected Travel Time: None
