Staff Counselor
Responsible for the care and supervision of emotionally disturbed child and adolescent residential clients. Helps clients in a positive, respectful manner that recognizes individual differences. Models appropriate behaviors. Contributes to the therapeutic community. Implements, monitors, and reports upon therapeutic strategies and programming. Ensures the provision of a safe and homelike atmosphere throughout the residential unit. Documents client’s progress and related pertinent data. We are filling vacancies on the 3-11 shift. We are looking for one to one workers for large male clients.

Staff Counselor II
High school diploma (or equivalency) plus 12 semester credit hours from an accredited college/university program and 2 years of direct care experience required. Experience with children/adolescents preferred.
Staff Counselor III
A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university in a human services, which includes, but may not be limited to the following: sociology, political science, counseling, criminal justice, pastoral counseling, elementary/special education of family therapy and other related fields. A minimum of 1-year direct care experience required or supervised practice in lieu of the experience requirement. Experience with children/adolescents preferred.
