SENIOR SPECIALIST - NATIONAL PROGRAM MARKETING
HEROES CHARITY ATHLETE PROGRAMResponsible for the oversight and training of regional staff, program management and implementation of the Heroes program. Uses high level skills and experience to coordinate heroes recruitment and cultivation efforts and constantly creates opportunities to move the Heroes program to a higher level in the field of charity athlete programs. Oversees regional staff on all heroes initiatives, including recruitment and retention. Responsibilities include program development, testing, and implementation, as well as budgetary control, communications, hospital education and other processes necessary to raise funds from these individuals and groups. Uses fundraising, sponsorship, relationship building and sales skills to develop mutually beneficial associations with these individuals and groups. Markets St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to current and prospective Heroes participants across the country. Manages the Heroes Representative.
Bachelor's degree and 5 years experience in marketing, fund raising, event planing or related experience required. Knowledge of fund raising and public relations essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential. Must possess excellent problem solving, organizational and leadership skills. Understanding of data processing applications (Microsoft Office Suite) necessary. Must possess a valid driver's license.
