Parish Administrative Assistant
A formal church north of downtown Dallas seeks a Parish Administrative Assistant
DutiesWorship Service and special services preparation (weddings, funerals) Maintain parish records, attendance, visitors, baptism, death, weddings, new members Maintain office and church supplies, equipment, records-make sure W-2 and W-4 applications are completed and filed Secretarial support to the pastor, staff members, Council members, answering phones, taking messages, church calendar of activities, requesting appropriate room set ups Prepare and distribute the monthly newsletter and Annual Report Processing of Sunday offering records, invoices, payments and payroll Submit invoices to committee chairs for approval Receive, acknowledge and deposit restricted monies Write manual checks when requested on church accounts with appropriate approval Maintain accurate visitors' and congregants' financial donations in accounting database and mail quarterly statements Supervise custodian duties for set-ups and cleaning Custodial scheduling for large events Conduct regular building walk-throughs to observe maintenance and cleaning. Give maintenance reports to Property Manager Call servicemen and repairmen as needed and oversee repairs Maintain a log of all maintenance contracts and contacts Keep security system up to date and programmed correctly
