Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania (GSHPA) is a premier non-profit organization dedicated to helping girls ages 5-17 enhance their self-esteem and develop leadership skills. Girl Scout programs help girls discover their personal best, and prepare for a positive future, connect with others in an increasingly diverse world, and take action to solve problems and improve their communities.

GSHPA  works with 15,000 adult volunteers to deliver Girl Scout programs to approximately 45,000 girls in 30 counties in northeastern and central Pennsylvania. We offer programs to five age levels and provide nearly 200 resident camp sessions on more than 2,550 acres of camp facilities.

Job Requirements

Successful candidate should have 2 years experience developing and conducting recruitment programs and events; Bachelor's degree or equiv. experience; Strong communication, organization and time management skills; Ability to do public speaking; Proficient in recruitment and training techniques; Strong public relations skills; Ability to develop community collaborations; Ability to effectively identify, analyze and solve problems; Ability to travel within assigned area and work a flexible schedule.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Will be based in either our State College or Montoursville areas.
