Senior Joint Interest Accountant needed for Greenway Plaza O & G Company

Overview:A prestigious Oil & Gas company in Greenway Plaza is looking for an experienced Joint Interest Accountant.  This is a direct hire position and offers full benefits upon hire.  They also offer a generous 401k, company stock and bonus program. This is an incredible opportunity for anyone who is looking for a company they can stay with for the long haul. Compensation:Pay is based on experience and can range from $80,000 to $90,000 per year. Responsibilities: Process, analyze and report on AFE/Cash Call status for capital and expense projects Develop and maintain LOE accrual process Perform monthly and quarterly account analysis Develop report-writing, query and spreadsheet interface skills within newly deployed accounting system Research and develop audit exception clearance positions Provide central point of contact between accounting and operations groups Perform other job related tasks, special projects, and other administrative duties as assigned  Experience: Bachelors degree in accounting required Minimum of five years O & G Joint Interest Accounting Experience Proficiency in BOLO or Excalibur Systems a strong plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office required Must be flexible and able to deal with rapidly changing priorities Strong analytical, math, and communication skills Ability to work independently   Contact Information:You may email your resume to accounting.galleria@brookecompanies.com   For further information call 713-337-2222 to speak with Melissa Capello.  Brooke Companies, established in 1989, specializes in recruiting and staffing top professionals.
