Rio Tinto Minerals, has an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Supervisor - Operations, Safety and Health at its Mine, Mill and Shipping Center located near Ludlow, VT. We are looking for a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team.

The successful candidate will: Manage and direct talc mining, milling and shipping activities; Lead and manage activities of production workers at all three areas for the safe, clean, efficient, quality, and profitable production of products; Manage the health and safety functions for the Vermont Operations; Ensure proper maintenance of Safety Management Systems in accordance with Federal, State and RTM laws and regulations.

The qualified candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree, preferably in safety, mine engineering, business administration, or related area; have a minimum of five to seven years relevant experience; knowledge of safety, production, maintenance and electrical systems, have effective interpersonal, communication, organization, and presentation skills.
