Manufacturing Accounting Specialist

Hendrick Metal Products, a growing precision sheet metal fabricator and perforator in Elgin, IL (I-90 & Randall) is looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to fill a newly created position.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform cost analysis to evaluate, develop, and modify work center cost.

• Analyze and prepare financial reports.

• Lead physical inventory and cycle count activities.

• Works closely with the General Manager in the development of analytical reports including annual budget preparation and the monitoring of such.

• Provides support to Corporate Accounting.

• Oversee all accounts payable functions, including matching, coding and entering, invoices, researching and resolving accounts payable issues.

• Oversee Accounts receivable duties including billing and data entry.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting.

• 5-7 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment a must with significant time spent in cost accounting in a multi-level BOM environment.

•  Experience with activity-based cost accounting desired.

• Must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

• Advanced Excel, Word, and Power Point.

• Familiarity with Manufacturing software systems.
