Maintenance Electrician
Leading manufacturer located in DeKalb Co. IN is seeking a qualified electrical maintenance technician.
This position represents an excellent opportunity to work with an industry leader, which has achieved a strong reputation supplying a broad range of products to American Corporations.
Individuals having completed the US Navy nuclear propulsion program (EM and ET) with experience aboard a naval submarine or carrier are strongly preferred for this position.
Successful candidates should meet the following requirements:
*Thorough understanding of electrical and electronic theory and practices, including excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
*Experience in performing corrective maintenance on AC/DC motors, power distribution systems, motor controllers, analog and digital instrumentation and PLC controls.
*Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in electrical hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
*Leadership ability with a desire for further technical training and career advancement.
*A minimum of 5+ years experience in the Electrical / Industrial Electrical maintenance field.
*Technical Trade School or Certification(s) in the Electrical field would be helpful.
