Industrial Electrician

We have an immediate need for an Industrial Electrician for a major metals refinery. This will be a 2nd shift position which will work the hours of 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Qualified candidates must have proof of experience. Duties: - Pull multiple electrical/telecom/power circuits. - Calibrate instruments. - Troubleshoot ladder logics w/PLC to fire alarm systems. - Install/repair motor control starters w/relay permissives, repair palletizers. - Monitor/maintain controls, pin relays, rectifiers, solid state sensors. - Repair motors, HVAC, conveyors, pumps, floats, bearings and fans. - Operate/repair cranes, hoist, winches, forklifts and pneumatic equipment. Requirements: - Associate Degree in Engineering discipline. - Minimum of 2-4 years industry experience. - The job requires excellent communication, interpersonal and limited computer skills and must be able to take on multi assignments. - He or she must be decisive, resourceful, and possess excellent organizational skills. - In addition, this individual must be able to work in a fast pace environment. - Knowledge of pumps, filter presses and tanks is also a plus.
