Human Resources Administrator/Accounting Assistant

United Polychem is a full service distributor of commodity resins, distributing to companies throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. To support our business growth, we are currently looking for a Human Resources Administrator/Accounting Assistant.

 

Human Resources Duties include:

-         Benefits management and administration

-         Semi-monthly payroll processing

-         Recruitment

-         Full responsibility for all human resources policies

-         Manage company fuel cards and cell phones

 

Accounting Duties include:

-         Collection calls to customers

-         Answering credit inquiries

-         Learning invoicing procedures to back up invoicing clerk

-         Monthly calculation of Canadian sales tax

-         Assisting the credit manager

 

Ideal Candidate will:

-         Have experience in both human resources and accounting and/or equivalent education.

-         Be comfortable working in a sometimes stressful environment.

-         Understand the importance of confidentiality.

-         Be an independent worker, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

-         Be able to make objective judgments when dealing with personnel issues.

 

Salary is dependent on experience and there is a full benefits package (medical, dental, life, 401K).
