Human Resource Assistant
This entry level position will assist the Human Resource department in carrying out various human resources processes and procedures including but not limited to:
Administering pre-employment tests and conducting new employee orientation Processing employee hew hire and termination paperwork Maintaining employee health, personnel and CDL files Executing COBRA and FMLA notifications Maintaining Human Resource Information Systems records and compiling reports from the database as needed Participating in the administration of benefits which includes processing enrollment forms, reporting additions, terminations and other changes, assisting with benefit and claims questions, and creating and approving invoices for payment Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars Participating in payroll processing and acts as payroll input backup Participating in organizing company meetings, parties and other company related functions Office administrative duties to include but not limited to maintaining and ordering office supplies, administering corporate cell phones and other duties as required Miscellaneous typing, faxing filing and presentation preparation
