Environmental Auditor
POSITION SPECIFICATION
Summary:
United States Steel Corporation has an immediate opening for a Senior Environmental Auditor. This position, based in Pittsburgh, PA, will report to Audit Management. The successful candidate will have environmental compliance experience, including identifying environmental aspects and impacts, assessing compliance with environmental laws and regulations at the national and jurisdiction levels, and/or applying professional environmental compliance practices.
Major Responsibilities: Lead compliance audits of facilities Coordinate cross functional team assignments for the audits and scheduling Discuss results with various levels of management Prepare reports for management and the Audit Committee outlining findings and corrective action plans
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or other related field Certified Professional Environmental Auditor (CPEA) required Minimum of 5 experience years in audit or relevant environmental compliance experience Ability and willingness to travel
