Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

We are currently seeking experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisors with demonstrated skills in electrical engineering for our Canton, Ohio plant operations and our Lorain, Ohio plant operations.

Job Responsibilities:

Maintenance supervisors are responsible for directing the hourly workforce in daily maintenance activities to ensure equipment is operational and safe to meet production objectives.

This includes: Scheduling and planning maintenance to ensure continuous operations and eliminate downtime  Implementing maintenance processes and procedures Performing scheduled repairs and planning for outages Tracking maintenance delays  Conducting area inspections  Conforming to environmental and quality standards  Practicing continuous improvement initiatives

Job Requirements:


Two year technical degree or BSEE preferred. Qualified candidates will offer previous experience in maintaining electrical mill / heavy industry electrical equipment; knowledge of steelmaking processes; basic mechanical maintenance knowledge; and experience with predictive and preventive maintenance practices. Previous steel / metals industry experience is a plus (casting, melt/EAF/BOP, Rolling / Bar Mill).
