Corporate Mechanical Engineer - Project & Process - Greater Chicago area

A very progressive, growth-oriented company with headquarters in the western suburbs of Chicago is in need of a Mechanical Engineer to provide both mechanical and process support to the company's metals manufacturing and finishing facilities.  This position reports to the Manager of Corporate Engineering.

This person will work with engineering and local management to help determine proper equipment and facility needs, designs and specs, help source suppliers, work with capital projects and help design for efficiency and safety.

We are seeking a BSME degree from a well known engineering school, 3 to 5 years experience preferably in a metals process and/or finishing environment. Computer skills including Autocad and Solidworks plus a willingness to travel up to 30%.
