Account Executive Trainee
Alter Trading Corporation is searching for energetic and goal-oriented Account Executive Trainees to develop and manage industrial accounts (ferrous and non-ferrous), to bid on other accounts/projects as neccesary to support volume and margin targets at our Green Bay, Wisconsin and Council Bluffs, Iowa facilities. Alter operates processing facilities in Alabama, Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois, Minnesota, Mississippi, and Wisconsin to recycle metals and trade recycled materials nationally and internationally. Our corporate support center and marketing office is located in St. Louis, Missouri and we also have trading offices in Shanghai and Hong Kong. Our web address is www.altertrading.com.
The ideal candidates will have 2-4 years experience in sales, marketing or operations preferably in the durable goods industry. Scrap metal processing experience is preferred but not required. Alter prefers candidates with a 4 year college degree concentrating in Marketing, Business, Production Management, or related field of study. The successful candidate will receive on-the-job training at a production facility as well as other operations and offices within the Alter system.
