 Position Summary

 

Work with various stakeholders in analyzing the various disciplines of the Company.

 

· Assist in coordinating and consolidating operational submissions from multiple data sources,

· Assist in gathering, analyzing and reporting global data to understand business changes, and

· Organize many different processes to produce a single financial plan on an ongoing basis.

· Provide management with observations and suggestions for improvement. Primary Responsibilities

· Facilitate the planning process by:

o Facilitate timeline to keep planning development on track to meet deadlines.

o Lead planning team in aligning to the common goal and assuring complete information is delivered by the deadline.

o Requires sufficient knowledge of business unit financials to coordinate calendar, assure appropriate review and approval steps and confirm all functional areas have been validated by owners.

· Perform robust analysis to assist management in making business decisions, to included:

o Working with business partners (sales, marketing, service, etc.) to develop expense forecasts.

o Analyze trends, communicate observations and make suggestions for improvement.

o Assist business partners in creating management presentations to justify investments.

· Prepare monthly operations package for Global Presidents to identify current business performance, anticipated performance to forecast and budget.

· Train associates on budget applications and processes.

· Perform on-going review of planning process to evaluate effectiveness and achieve efficiencies, making recommendations for improvements.

· Develop an in-depth, detailed understanding of the operational functions and their interactions with other divisional and corporate operations for the purpose of understanding future trends and identifying opportunities for improvement.

 

 

Position Qualifications

· Four year degree in Accounting or Finance required.  Advanced degree and/or CPA preferred.

· Minimum of five work experience in a mid to large corporate planning environment to include financial analysis, budget development and project management.

· Thorough understanding of financial and accounting concepts required.

· Possess strong analytical, organization and leadership skills.

· Ability to deal effectively with all employees, including Executive Management, while conveying a positive service-oriented attitude

· Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and in writing.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment.

· Ability to multi-task and appropriately prioritize work, while maintaining attention to detail is critical.

· Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.  Hyperion application knowledge a plus.
