SENIOR NETWORKS/SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

We are looking for a Senior Networks/Systems Administrator who will be responsible for LAN/WAN projects involving the design, analysis, maintenance, and implementation of LAN/WAN equipment and networks and performs system administration of microcomputers and multiple servers.

Primary Responsibilities:

 Review the department procedures, staffing and equipment for maximum efficiency while controlling costs.

· Design, analyze, maintain and implement LAN/WAN equipment and networks; work on all LAN/WAN installation projects; support technical policies and procedures regarding LAN/WAN activities.

· Provide technical support to all departments connected to the mainframe.

· Meet with customer representatives to coordinate LAN/WAN installations, and train administrators as needed.

· Identify and resolve hardware and software problems.

· Ensure date/system security by protecting the corporate Information Technologies from unauthorized access, use, or interruption.

· Coordinate the development of a comprehensive disaster recovery plan, maintain the plan, and conduct periodic testing.

· Maintain an adequate level of knowledge of operating system and application software being used to provide high levels of support to users.

· Monitor and report licenses on applications to ensure compliance on a monthly basis.

 Education, Training and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Information Services, or related field, or CNE Certification.At least 5 years extensive experience in local area network concepts and fundamentals.Knowledge of hardware and software installation, testing, and operation; knowledge of application of computer software.
