Product Manager - Spine
Our client operates a model organ and tissue donation program and is the nation’s largest full-service, nonprofit tissue banking system. This organization provides organ procurement services for the cardiovascular and orthopaedic industries. With over 500 employees, our client is a leader in tissue banking and developing specialized allografts for patients and surgeons across the country and beyond. Our client is seeking a qualified candidate to lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies and tactics to maximize market penetration and profitability associated with the brand of products. This includes the development and implementation of appropriate programs to increase awareness and usage of the assigned product line. Additionally, this position will be responsible for the development, participation, and execution of national product launches. These activities include pre-launch market penetration strategies and post-launch follow up support. This position will require strong internal and external relationships in order to facilitate the financial success of the product line. Additional responsibilities include: developing and implementing strategic and annual marketing plans; utilizing key business models such as a SWOT, segmentation, product life cycle, and GAP analysis to aid in the development, implementation, and positioning of product lines; using key communication and promotional tools to establish awareness and feedback from the target audience; developing product launch sales material; collaborating and providing ongoing product and service support to representatives; working closely with R&D teams to support new product development and launch efforts as well as developing and implementing pricing and product offering strategies to ensure departmental compliance with all relevant regulatory standards. Successful candidates must have these minimum capabilities to be considered for this position: BA or BS degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred; minimum of 3- 5 years experience in orthopaedic or spine; experience in new product introductions desired; excellent communication and presentation skills required; ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.
