Reference Code: IRC151941 Physical Plant Technician II Provides basic building and premise maintenance services in a manufacturing environment.  Must be familiar with a wide rage of services equipment and routines.  Expected to perform duties of increasing responsibility beyond that of a Physical Plant Technician I.  Basic Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Valid EPA HVAC certification for refrigerant and refrigerant recovery. 2 years experience in HVAC maintenance and repair. Experience with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook Other Qualifications: Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures Maintenance of rotary or reciprocating air compressors, plant electrical distribution and hydraulic systems Valid motor vehicle operator’s license Must be able to perform calculations using shop math Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics Able to operate forklift and other powered material handling equipment. Monitors quality of assigned tasks and corrects deficiencies Ability to deal effectively with all internal and external clients while conveying a positive, service oriented attitude Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion and exercise sound business judgment  Must be able to work various shifts and schedules as directed by supervisor, and complete all projects and tasks in assigned time frames.  Preferred Qualifications:  Welding experience is desired but not required
