OEM/Distributor/Private Label Sales Manager

The ODPL Sales Manager is responsible for the development and direction for establishing OEM accounts, for growing the national distributor sales network and for reestablishing private label accounts.  The product/solutions sold through these channels include the Sensatec® Fall Monitoring, DriTec™ Incontinence Solutions and Seeker to the hospital, rehabilitation, assisted nursing care, home health care, long-term care markets, establish distribution channels for Seeker and PinPoint for Industrial/Commercial and Government markets.  Maximize OEM and private label opportunities for all product lines.

 

Specific responsibilities include:Strengthen existing distributor relationships and establish new distributors to accomplish sales goals. Continually build an industry network and develop additional sales channel contacts. Manage distributor networks by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals and to advise distributors concerning sales and marketing activities, and track and record distributor progress to determine program results. Communicate pricing guidelines, sales promotions and advertising programs to the sales team and distributors. Continually collect new insights and knowledge of the marketplace, RF Technologies™ positioning in the marketplace, and a full understanding of our competition. Remain current on market trends. Recommend changes and direction to ensure the fulfillment of sales objectives and provide the flexibility to move swiftly in regard to new market opportunities. Communicate feedback to sales team, and product management and marketing team to guide the enhancement of existing product offerings and development of new products. Recommend budget, expenditures, and appropriations for distributor sales. Analyze and control expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements. Assist in the development of marketing materials, such as manuals, catalogs and advertising pieces. Travel to meet with distributors and end-users to promote products and to determine additional product needs; participate in seminars and trade shows. Review market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, and coordinate with product management and marketing personnel in the development of sales campaigns to accommodate company goals. Select and oversee liaisons between sales department and other areas of the company. Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, sales funnel and plan to achieve goals.  Analyze existing sales and order entry process to drive improvement and efficiency.  Foster collaborative working relationships with others involved in the sale, marketing, product management, engineering and installation processes.  Participate in sales meetings, training seminars, and coaching activities. Grow the private label business.

 

 QUALIFICATIONSA Bachelors Degree is required. Five years of sales management experience is needed, to include experience developing and managing an OEM/distributor sales network. Must have a proven track record in achieving sales goals selling through distribution channels. Should have computer skills in a Windows environment; experience in the use of MS Excel, MS Word, and databases is highly preferred. Proven track record of achieving sales goals is a must. Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed. Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
