Manufacturing/Process Technician  

 SonoSite, Inc., the leading, hand-carried ultrasound technology company located in Bothell, WA, has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing/Process Technician. SonoSite sets the standard in maintaining an innovative and technology-charged culture with tremendous opportunities for growth.  The Manufacturing/Process Technician will support a wide variety of high tech equipment and processes.  These processes include sputtering/vacuum metal deposition, CNC machining (mill, lathe, grind, dice, etc).  This individual will work with engineering and other manufacturing personnel to develop, implement, and control critical custom and proprietary equipment and processes.  Additional responsibilities include general equipment preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

Competitive candidates should possess the following:

· 2 year technical degree or equivalent.

· 2+ years experience in equivalent role.

· General engineering technical skills (electrical and/or mechanical). Good math and problem solving skills. Ability to set up, operate, and write procedures for production equipment (sputtering machines, dicing saws, CNC late/mill, precision grinders, etc.).

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

· Basic computer skills.

· Good written and oral communication skills. Will work closely with engineering staff and assemblers during training, problem solving and general production line support.

· Safety training and experience in handling chemicals and hazardous waste. Electrical safety training and experience in product manufacturing and repair of production equipment.
