Director, Research and Development

 

Position Description The Director of Research & Development has the responsibility and authority to assist with planning and execution of the overall Mechanical Engineering R&D strategy.  The Director of Research & Development is responsible for the development of new products within the field of high speed pneumatic surgical devices for removal and cutting of bone and soft tissue. Directs and implements R&D activities for the R&D Engineering Group such as product development engineering, research, basic science,discovery, program budgeting, resource allocation, tactical execution, prioritization, compliance to the quality policy and effectively manages the groups day to day direction in support of the overall business strategy.
