Clinical Applications Manager

The Clinical Applications Manager develops and implements strategic educational presentations to support current sales efforts and to influence healthcare practitioners. The successful incumbent will work with all members of the domestic sales force to identify and build programs for connecting with the medical community, coordinating with marketing managers as appropriate. Works with Marketing on "voice of customer" incorporating user needs into product design and coordinates with Marketing Communications to translate clinical results and journal articles into selling materials and proof sources. Develops strategies to provide information on new concepts in medical treatment, as well as training practitioners in proper sample collection, giving perspective to field activities associated with growing all product lines Requirements Education and Experience:* Requires a BS/BA in any biological science, med tech, or nursing degree (or equivalent combination education and/or work experience) with a minimum of 10+ years progressive responsibility in professional relations and clinical study work including clinical study design. * Experience in the IVD, medical device or bio/pharma industry required.Knowledge/Skills:* Strong knowledge of medical terminology and good clinical practice. * High level of organizational skills and ability to handle multiple, high priority projects calmly. * Knowledge of reimbursement process (support of changes/additions) and payer groups. * Skilled at working with functional groups in a strong team environment. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills with a wide variety of personalities and levels of expertise. * Strong computer skills (especially MS Office suite of programs). * Travel required, approximately 60%.
