Position Summary
As Senior Project Team Leader, you will be responsible for guiding and leading one or more new product development teams through a successful commercialization of a new product. Typically, at this level the projects will be of high complexity, scope and duration.

Primary Responsibilities Develop and present business case, develop project plan and identify resource needs, procure necessary resources, define roles on project team, lead team meetings, guiding the team through the design requirements process, assuring that materials are prepared for business reviews and that reviews are held appropriately, obtaining appropriate resources for the project, identifying issues and communicating to management, maintaining team focus, managing project scope, and assuring healthy team dynamics. Additionally, the Sr. Project Team Leader is responsible for leading the team thru a successful commercialization of the project, and is accountable for the fiscal success of the product.  The Sr. Project Team Leader is also responsible for assuring that appropriate financial planning has been done by the team to achieve profitability. The Project Team Leader demonstrates the ability to coordinate the activities of cross functional groups including., Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Assurance, Finance, Logistics, Graphics, Packaging Engineering, Case Development Engineering, Technical Services, Product Development, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs and Reimbursement.

Qualifications

 Bachelor level college degree in a business or technical area is required. Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience (Manufacturing Engineering, PD Engineering, Regulatory Affairs etc) At least two (2) years of experience leading or planning for cross-functional new product development teams. Experience in Orthopaedic. MBA a plus, but not required. Previous people management. In lieu of degree, nine (9) years of directly related experience will be considered.
