Welder/Boilermaker
Welder/Boiler maker to Aalborg Industries, Houston, TX, USA
Aalborg Industries, Houston has experienced a demanding expansion in workflow activities and is now seeking Welders/Boilermakers to join the existing boiler repair team.
Today we are 14 highly motivated employees in the organisation facing expansion of our activities in US (Fort Lauderdale, Houston and Long Beach). There are a lot of challenges in the position, and the Welder/Boilermaker must fit in with the positive and dynamic atmosphere in our company.
The main tasks in the position are:
§ Installlation of new boiler plants
§ Repair tasks on existing boilers plants
§ Inspection tasks on boilers and related systems
The position implies travel activities (approx 250 days a/year) onboard ships and it is important that you are flexible, independent and feel comfortable operating in a multinational environment. The work pace is high and it is paramount that you have the ability to co-operate in an active and dynamic work environment.
We seek a person with experience in welding and manufacturing, good technical and personal skills. Experience from a similar employment will be an advantage. You should possess knowledge in the welding processes: GTAW (TIG) and SMAW (Stick) and be able to pass the Welder Performance Qualification (WPQ).

§ Well-organized and able to build and maintain confidence with our increasing number of customers
§ Thrive in an active, busy and multinational environment
§ English, spoken, must be mastered
§ Valid US work permit and passport
§ Valid US driver license
§ Willing to participate in the Companys drug testing program
