Moller Supply Services, part of the global A.P. Moller – Maersk Group, purchases and delivers goods to more than 350 vessels and drilling rigs around the world.
Right now, our Purchasing Logistics group is seeking an experienced purchasing professional to provide centralized procurement services for several Maersk companies in North America. Working at our offices in Houston, TX (Beltway 8 & Briar Forest), you will be responsible for all purchasing functions, updating systems and communicating with customers regarding order status, and assisting management in identifying optimization opportunities in the purchasing and logistics process.
To qualify, you must have a minimum of 2-3 years of oil field equipment procurement experience, proficiency in MS Office applications, familiarity with logistics, and in-depth knowledge of the oilfield industry and drilling equipment. Candidates should be detail-oriented; able to work independently; and possess excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
