VIKING is a market leader in maritime safety, providing and servicing essential safety equipment for passenger and cargo ships, offshore installations, fishing vessels, yachts, and defence and fire-fighting industries. 

                                                     

Responsibilities:         

All facets and total responsibility of Sales, Marketing and Service of the Viking product line to Latin America

 

Tasks: Establish and attain sales and revenue goals. Develop and execute LTAM strategic growth plan Develop new service stations Develop and implement LTAM Marketing and Advertising strategy Make quarterly and yearly sales and cost budgets Maintain effective budgetary control of division Controlling credit and collections In agreement with the Sales Director order products Promote sales of the company’s whole product range to primary commercial customers. Attain special knowledge of Viking Manufactured products sold to primary commercial maritime customers. Develop and maintain relationships with service stations, ship yards and ship-owners within the region. Advise service stations concerning sales and marketing ideas to increase overall business Plus, anything deemed necessary to benefit the Company.

 Authority: To represent the Company to New and Existing customers. In agreement with the Sales Director place orders with the purchasing agent for Company products with proper approvals. Negotiate distribution contracts within Latin America. 

Supervisory Responsibilities:                    Indirectly supervisor for the internal sales staff in Viking, Miami.

Qualifications: 

Several years Sales Executive experience (Preferably Latin Trade Experience)

Strong interpersonal and selling skills

Willingness to travel extensively to Latin America

Fluent in writing and speaking English and Spanish

A self-motivator with entrepreneurial ability

Computer knowledge
