Description:Develop and implement policies and supportive programs in the areas of environmental protection and employee safety to define managements commitment to the safety program.Develop and implement systems and programs that promote employee involvement and awareness of the safety program.Keep and maintain ISO 14000 certifications.Manage all environmental permits and reporting requirements.Ensure the development and implementation of comprehensive worksite analysis tools (audits, inspections, industrial hygiene sampling, etc.) in an effort to identify all potential areas of risk and liability.Ensure the development and implementation of needed or required hazard prevention and control methods (engineering controls, administrative controls and personal protective equipment) to minimize risk, exposure and liability.Develop and implement a training system and related programs to ensure employee awareness of safety and environmental requirements.Ensure coordination and administration of onsite emergency response activities including partnerships with medical, security and ERT personnel.Oversee the administration of an effective incident investigation program to ensure the identification and removal of incident causes.Maintain an ongoing awareness of Federal and State legislation with regards to safety and environmental and advise management of their responsibilities.Contribute to the administration of the overall workers compensation program including counsel on investigations, coordination with insurance carrier, and decision-making.Qualifications:BS degree in Safety Management or related field or equivalent experience. Appropriate training through specific seminars and professional societies as required.EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:7-10 years in the safety field with previous managerial experience preferred.Salary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceRockwell Automation offers a competitive benefit plan.
